About

About St. Luke’s Child Outreach in Refugee Program in Uganda

Our mission has been accomplished! Our dream became a reality when the former High Bishop, Nathaniel Garang Anyieth , blessed St. Luke’s CORE Primary School in the Adjumani Refugee Camp at an opening cere-mony on June 21, 2014 .

The vision for this mission was not clear when I visited Adjumani in January 2014. It was a long and challenging road, but through the work of the Holy Spirit, we were able to join our hands togeth-er around a vision God provided. Below is a picture of Dr. William Obaga, holding St. Luke’s flag during a visit to Adjumani, Uganda.

There are many ways to be a Missionary

  • You can pray for the ministry of St. Luke’s Theological College.
  • You can share the exciting story of the St. Luke’s CORE and encourage others to become prayer partners for St. Luke’s and for Matthew Riak. And the family.
  • You can come to South Sudan and teach a two-week intensive course.
  • You can sponsor a student for $300 a year.
  • You can financially support St. Luke’s with regular or spe-cial gifts.
